Komen, one of the world’s leading breast cancer organizations dedicated to saving lives through research, patient support, and advocacy. Through this partnership, Ostrich Chairs is helping raise awareness and contribute to the fight against breast cancer while empowering our community to get involved.
Founded in 1982, Susan G. Komen works to meet critical needs in communities and invest in breakthrough research to prevent and cure breast cancer. The organization has invested nearly $1.1 billion in breast cancer research and provided support to hundreds of thousands of individuals and families affected by breast cancer.
What We’re Doing
As part of this partnership, Ostrich Chairs is supporting breast cancer awareness through annual donations, awareness campaigns, and community-driven initiatives. These efforts help spark conversations, encourage early detection, and support those affected by breast cancer.
In addition to our partnership with Susan G. Komen, Ostrich Chairs has also partnered with Zeta Tau Alpha, a national sorority whose philanthropy focuses on breast cancer education and awareness. Through this collaboration, Ostrich Chairs provides complimentary Ladies Comfort Lounger Chairs to chapters across the country to support their breast cancer awareness initiatives, fundraising events, and philanthropy activities. By supporting Zeta Tau Alpha members, we’re helping amplify awareness efforts on college campuses and encouraging meaningful conversations among young women about early detection and education.
