*Customer Service SLA*

During business days 90% of inquiries will be responded to within 6 hours or less, but no more than 1 business day. Weekend or holiday response times will take longer or may not be returned until the next business day.

*Shipping Policy*

We offer Free Shipping with no minimum purchase amount required (note - this excludes Wholesale purchase orders). Most of our products ship FedEx Ground, but smaller products and accessories ship USPS. Products typically arrive within 2 - 5 business days. If an order is received by 12PM ET it will usually ship the same day (weekends excluded). Tracking numbers are emailed once products have shipped.

**Wholesale Orders do not ship free. Wholesale shipping cost and options to be discussed at time of purchase.**

*Return Policy*

If you wish to return your Ostrich product purchased directly from the Ostrich website, you must do so within 14 days of your purchase. Deltess Corp will exchange the merchandise or refund your money, less a 20% restocking fee. Please e-mail Deltess using our “contact us” e-mail form prior to returning any merchandise. Deltess will not accept returned items that are post marked after 14 days of purchase unless it is for a warranty issue (see limited warranty statement page). To be eligible for return, products need to be returned in “like new” condition as follows:

  • An undamaged item in the original packaging
  • An item that has not been used, assembled, or modified
  • An item that includes all parts, accessories, hangtags, and instruction manuals

Deltess’ refund policy does not cover products damaged due to neglect, improper usage, or acts of nature. If the merchandise has been used and/or damaged, or not properly cared for, Deltess will not be able to process a refund for the returned item; the product will be shipped back to the customer at his or her cost and no refund will be issued.

To complete a return through OstrichChair.com please execute the following steps:

  1. To initiate a return, have your order number ready and contact us through our “contact us” link or directly by email to: info@deltess.com

A Customer service representative will promptly review your return request. If your return request meets the requirements of our return policy, an RMA number and a link to create a free FedEx return label will be emailed to you.

  1. Pack and Ship Your Item(s)

At this point you must package your item for return shipping. See below for additional shipping instructions:

  • Ensure the item is well packed in its original packaging
  • Make sure the RMA # is referenced on the return label or clearly handwritten on the outside of the box. Example “RMA #: 1234”
  • Attach the return label to the outside of the box
  • Do not write on or mark on the box in any way other than to attach the return label
  • We will monitor the return and handle any shipping issues that arise
  1. Complete Your Return

Once we receive your item, it will be inspected to verify its “like-new” condition. Once “like-new” condition is confirmed, we will process your credit associated with your return. If a product is determined not to be in “like-new” condition, the amount of the refund will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

  • Credit returns generally take fewer than 7 days to process, but may take longer depending on the case
  • You will be refunded via the same method by which the returned product(s) was originally purchased

*Process for Receipt of Damaged Products*

Any products delivered from Deltess that are damaged must be reported to us within 5 days of delivery in order to be refunded or replaced. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Deltess as soon as possible via e-mail or using our “contact us” e-mail form for approval. The order number and a brief detailed summary of the problem along with images of the problem are required in the e-mail. The customer will be subsequently contacted. We will then replace the damaged merchandise.

*Conditions of Use*

Ostrich products are solely intended for personal and leisure use. Ostrich accepts no responsibility, nor does it provide the benefits of the limited warranty, if an Ostrich Product is used for business or commercial purposes or if it was purchased from an unauthorized seller. Ostrich products are designed and manufactured for normal use as a chair, which means that it should only be used for the weight for which it is rated. The product should not be used by more than one person at a time; this includes a prohibition of use by 2 people at the same time, even for a short period or leaning on it partially.

Individuals should sit down in the chair without “falling” into it and should change position without making any sudden movements.

If you have any reasonable concerns about pre-existing medical conditions or special physical or medical needs, you should check with your health provider prior to using the chair.

Ostrich chairs should be stored in a dry location, protected from adverse weather conditions when they are not in use.
