The Chaise

Only weighing 9.8 pounds, Ostrich is “shockingly durable”. Its stainless steel frame and polyester fabric hold up to 250 pounds! The chair easily folds together for easy portability. 

Smith describes “The beach chair might as well be a cot,” due to its length of 72 inches! You can keep your feet off the hot sand and sunbathe. Despite the length, Smith notes “It’s lightweight and is easily transported with a handy carrying strap”. 

The comfortability of the chair should also be noted as Smith mentions doing her work outside on her porch with her laptop on her lap! Sounds like the ideal setup. 

Pros and Cons

Smith listed eight pros to the chair, including padded face hole and pillow, armholes, easily portable and lightweight, convenient carrying strap, comfortable yet sturdy, easily foldable, four different reclining positions, and 10 color options! 

The one con was that there were no cup holders, although that problem was solved in a different Ostrich model. The new Margate Aluminum Chaise Lounger features armrests, a zippered pocket, and a cup holder!
