Our perfectly positioned face hole in every Ostrich Face Down Chair is much like that of a massage chair.
Now you can lie face down with a straight face (actually you’ll be smiling). In this position you won’t crick your neck. Now you can read or check out your phone. Plus we put a “Pop-In/Pop-Out Pillow Pad” around the outside of the face hole for added face down comfort!
Laying on your tummy to tan or read has never been more comfortable!
The perfectly positioned arm holes work in concert with the face hole putting you in a relaxed face down position to simply chill or use your arms to read your book or tablet or check your phone.
You can even sip your favorite beverage through a straw! Since it’s shaded under the chair, there is no annoying glare off page or screen!
An Ostrich Beach Chair is both a tad wider and a touch taller than other beach chairs.
To accommodate the arm holes we made the Ostrich Chairs wider than other beach chairs. We also made the chair taller in order to provide a comfortable distance for reading and checking your phone.
Customers quickly appreciated these attributes as the added width made it roomier and more comfortable, while the added height made it much easier to get out of than other beach chairs. It’s all a big plus!
We want you to be comfortable on the beach so we added the “Legs Up” extendable, 3-position footrest. When you’re not face down, you can be legs up! It’s yet one more way the Ostrich Beach Chair has a leg up on the competition.
A key to the all-day sitting comfort of an Ostrich Beach Chair is the ability to adjust and customize your sitting position. This multi-position “Wing It” adjustability lets you go from lay-flat to upright with several stops along the way. And, you can adjust the lock-in positions without getting out of the chair.
Ostrich Beach Chairs are built strong for years of use and to hold even the biggest bird (weight capacity of up to 325 lbs - depending on model).
Lying face down can sometimes be uncomfortable for some people, particularly for women, so on select Ladies’ models we built a special Comfort Flex Panel that relieves upper body strain and provides additional comfort that women will especially appreciate.
